STATEMENT
As Mark Rothko said art is an adventure into an unknown world.
For me, art is an unlimited field. This is a way of measuring distance between myself and the world around me. I try to define myself by examining society, relationships and symbols which I see. I see an artwork as the concentration of an idea into a physical entity.
During my travels through different cultures (like India, Nepal,USA) I had an opportunity look inside myself. I am inspired by all the contradictions which I saw, by unpredictable adventures which I experienced by meeting people from different cultures and listening to theirs stories.
Travel, for me, is like touching mystery, exploring the unknown and a way to understand the contemporary world. At this time, I become a part of a global society. It is a process of embodying my feelings and afterthoughts. The use of a medium such as lithography, digital print, video gives me creative freedom.
My goal is to achieve new value of printmaking.
I try to make art which induces meditation and contemplation of hidden meaning. This is my search for order, which is so often vulnerable to the power of chaos in societies.
